Studio legend Malcolm McNab leads a three day course at Riverside City College focusing on the pedagogy of James Stamp.
What We Do
Our Mornings are devoted to group warm-up sessions and explanations of the Jimmy Stamp principals and exercises.
Our afternoons consist of break out sessions on various topics including: collaborative playing, orchestral literature, solo interpretation, and more! These sessions also allow for our participants to play individually for each faculty member and receive feedback. These sessions are different each year depending on participant interest.
We close each day with trumpet ensemble playing!

Camp Information – 2024
Location: Riverside City College
- RCC Coil School for the Arts
- 3890 University Ave, Riverside, CA 92501
Dates: Scheduled Friday August 2nd – Sunday August 4th, 2024
- Time: 9am – 4pm
- We will have a one hour lunch break daily from 12pm – 1pm
Cost:
- General Admission – $300
- Student Admission – $150
- Please include proof of enrollment in your application
Note: Camp Tuition does not cover food or lodging.
